A small nonprofit runs on people who show up.
There is no paid staff here. There is a group of neighbors in Harrisburg who decided that people around them needed help and that they would be the ones to give it. You are welcome to be one of them.
Six ways to lend a hand
Sort and organize donations
The hands-on work: going through what comes in, checking it over, and getting it ready to hand to someone. This is where the building will need the most help.
Sell raffle tickets
At work, at church, at a game, or on your own street. Selling tickets is one of the most useful hours you can give us.
Help at events and fundraisers
Set up, welcome people, run a table, clean up. If you are good with people, we can use you.
Spread the word
Share a post, tell a neighbor, put a flyer in a window. Half the donations we get start with someone simply knowing we exist.
Pickups and deliveries
When someone has something to give and no way to get it to us, a volunteer with a car makes it happen.
Grant writing and paperwork
The unglamorous work that lets a small nonprofit grow. If you have written a grant before, we would love to hear from you.
Tell us where you fit
Fill this in and a real person at Latice will get back to you. There is no commitment, no minimum hours and no interview — just tell us what you would like to do and when you are free.
If you would rather just talk it through, call or text (980) 403-1102.
Or help in one of these ways
Buy a shirt when they are ready
Our first run of apparel is being made now. Every piece sold goes toward our building fund.
